You CAN make money and get link juice from article marketing, however there are tons of filters and ezinearticles.com is thick with approvals - 95% of their content is nothing more than sneaky endorsements from sneaky affiliates like you and I. However, there is definitely a formula for this and it’s not that hard to implement if you can put together good articles and understand how to get your links in there where people eagerly click your calls to action! Should you open one big site on many topics or open many small niche sites, each having a topic of it’s own? I personally prefer opening many sites (all optimized for their own unique set of keywords) as opposed to one site. The main reason being “don’t put all your eggs in one basket”.

Content is not necessarily king. Content + marketing = king.
Content is important for obtaining large reader ships and returning visitors. But over the years I’ve seen many sites that have page after page of 100% unique content but still fail to get over 200 uniques a day. In saying this, I’ve also seen small niche sites with correct SEO done that can pull 300-500 uniques from search engines from multiple keywords.
