If you have been making money online for very long, you have probably heard of revenue share web sites.  Revenue share web sites share a portion of the generated income with the user who contributed the content.

In this article, we are going to talk about using one of these services, to not only create a few back links to your site; but also a viable way to create a secondary revenue stream.

Infobarrel.com is a newer service but has a ton of potentially, many of the articles have already gone viral and the site has even been featured in the LA Times as well as quite a few other major web sites.

Basically, what you are going to want to do, is the following:
- Signup for infobarrel.com
- Fill out your profile and add your Google Adsense Publisher ID to your profile.
- Add a signature to your profile (this is where your back links will come from)
- Create original content for use on the site (content is reviewed and is verified that it is not duplicate content)
- Sit back and get free back links, and 75% of all the Google Adsense impressions.

Let me go into detail a little bit on exactly how you will need to go about linking to your own site to make sure your links don’t get removed.

Signatures
In order to keep your links alive and well on the site, we are going to use the signature feature in the user profiles.  Users are allowed to have unlimited signatures, so you don’t have to worry about trying to make something generic; you can make a different signature for every article if you want.  One thing to make note of is affiliate links are not permitted in the signatures and neither are images, so make sure you just link back to your own site and maybe put a bit of a description.  Obviously, it is always best to use a signature related to the article you contributed in order to see the best results.

Quality, Non Duplicate Content
The other thing you need to think about is writing quality content.  Articles do not just go live instantly, the site is managed by editors so if you contribute spam, profanity or horribly broken English, chances are it won’t go live.  The editors aren’t Nazis though, so just try to make the information clear and concise and you should have no problem getting published.  When you are writing the article, there is an option to select your signature; this is where you will pick the signature that you made in your user profile.  Also, the preferred content on the site is factual informative articles.  How to, Do it yourself, history of and fact sheet articles tend to always get in, while news related topics don’t.

What Kind Of Money Can I Make?
Obviously with contextual ads, the kind of money you can make is partially dependent on the topics you write about.  Recipes and drinks are going to make substantially less than say content on Diabetes.  I know somebody who writes, who has roughly 20 articles on the site and she is making about $1 a day.  If it takes you 20 minutes to write an article, and you make $1 a day or $365 a year, that translates to nearly $18.25 an article over the course of a year.  Obviously, results will vary, but like anything else in life you will get out what you put in.

Combine the back links in your signature with the revenue you will generate from your content and you have yourself a win-win situation.
