First, you have to understand that 99% of the software that is supposed to help you and is hyped up by the “gurus” doesn’t work. I’ve tested just about everything out there. The gurus do a good job of misleading the gullible.

It took me awhile to figure out what does work and what doesn’t. I have one site that I haven’t done anything really with. It’s completely white hat with very little SEO and in a few short months I had 14500 one way backlinks. Another site I SEO to the hilt and really tried for backlinks, as the “gurus” recommend and it currently has 250 backlinks. These were my two base sites.

I have found several ways to increase one way links. One is through comments, another through forums, and another through blog farms.  Squidoo, Digg and a few other social bookmarking sites are good. The trick is knowing how to use them.

One last thing, be patient. Some times people get lucky and get indexed in a few days. However, the rule of thumb is that it’s going to take three to four months before you really see any momentum from your efforts.

Focus your efforts on one or two ways to build one way links. It’s a very tedious job that will drive you crazy but if you commit 30 minutes a day to it you’ll find that in about three months it really does take on a life of it’s own.

Article marketing does work. I write and submit one article a day. However, it has to be a unique article. Not a plr or one created by your software. It doesn’t have to be a masterpiece. Just three to five paragraphs with your keywords. I have a software program that helps me to quickly pull together an article but I have to actually write it.

Hope this helps!
