Not everyone has budgets big enough to support six figure Adsense campaigns.  If you  are like most people and want to make the most out of your advertising budget, there are a few things you should consider:

(Note that all these methods basically deal in SEO link building.  You won’t get good, targeted traffic any other way for a low price, so you might as well do it for the long term.)

  • Submit articles - Pay people to write articles for you and have them submitted to article websites.  You can get articles written cheap and then spun and submitted to hundreds of article websites (collecting backlinks along the way).
  • Create a contest - Buy a $1000 computer and give it a way.  Other sites will link to you naturally because they love this kind of stuff.  Chances are, the $1000 you spend on the prize will be worth less than the natural links you get as a result.
  • Social media bookmarking submissions - You can most likely get over 100 links on dofollow social media sites like Digg, Reddit, Propeller, etc. for $30 or less.  These will bring your site not only backlinks, but traffic as well.
  • Directory submission - Most people write this off nowadays as useless, but I still think that any dofollow link counts for atleast a little bit.  You can get these done for a very low cost as lots of people have ways to automate this.  You can probably get 1000 directory submits for less than $100.
  • Forum and blog posting - Again, outsourcing this process is simple and easy.  Less than $100 can buy you hundreds of links on related sites.

Some things to keep in mind when doing this:

  1. Nothing beats free, word of mouth press.  You should try and promote the best pages of your site so that they get passed around naturally.
  2. Do everything in moderation.  Don’t go and buy 10,000 links in one day.  If you do this, there is a high chance that Google will sandbox you and make your life miserable.
  3. You can find people to do this work for you on just about any webmaster’s message board.  Look for deals and read reviews about the seller before buying.  If you pick the wrong guy to outsource with, he can really mess up your site.
