Don’t submit to Google

A lot of people think that in order to be listed in Google’s search results, you need to first submit your site to them.  This is a complete lie.  In order for Google to list your site, you need them to find you naturally through links from other websites on the web.

If you want to start getting traffic to your new site, you shouldn’t underestimate the power of article writing.  If I were starting a new site right now, one thing I would do is outsource article writing to get traffic and quality back links to improve SERPs on my site.

Optimize your anchor text for the best results

The anchor text that you use to link to your website is very important.  From the best of my research if your anchor text corresponds with your product you will do very well.  If your anchor text does not match it then you will still get search engine traffic from this, but your queries will not be specific to your product.
