Reddit is also another good way to get your site indexed
SEO, Viral Marketing May 30th, 2008Don’t discount Reddit.com when trying to get your site indexed quickly by search engines. It’s not as big as Digg or Stumble, but can still get you some good stuff. Read below (a forum post I found) to see what I mean:
Last night at 2am I submitted a new site of mine to Reddit (reddit.com). Within about a minute this site appeared on the “new posts” page. Within something like 5 minutes this link showed up in google for searches for my site’s domain (tells us that reddit is being re-crawled constantly). This new site is a standard ecommrece site, and the page I submitted to Reddit was a page that showed all products in a certain category.
I have checked up on my site’s indexing this afternoon. There are 46 full pages already indexed in google, these include all products that were featured in the category page that I submitted, as well as all of the top pages that are linked to from the site’s navigation.
Why am I posting about this?
Google shows how many hours ago it indexed each of these pages. I submitted the link 10 hours ago, google shows that it indexed that particular page also 10 hours ago, and the rest of the pages 8, 6 or 4 hours ago. The lesson here is that you can have a page on your site indexed within 1 hour by using a single Reddit submission, and a notable portion of the site indexed at 2, 4, and 6 hours after submission. This is pretty impressive.

Definitely. Another trick is to make a Techcrunch comment with the website you want to get indexed.
