I found this post below on a forum I visit frequently… it’s all about how you can get a head start on your competition buy buying a domain name that is pre-owned. Doing this will save you lots of time and allow you to spend more time on developing a better site. Enjoy!

Since this blog is using Wordpress blogging software, and many other blogs on the net use it too, I thought I would put together a list of stuff that you should probably do to WP to make your blog as successful as possible. This is basically how to optimize your blog (and blogging) to get more visitors, be more useful, and cut down on some work for the blogger.

When thinking about how to promote your site virally, first study your site… see how you could make it better. Ask yourself, “If I ever visited this site, would I want to tell my friends about it?” If that answer is no, do everything you can to make your site more usable and friendly. Think about adding freebies, greeting cards, games, screen savers, or anything else that will get sent around easily.

Google Images is the largest picture search engine on the internet. If you have any types of images on your website (which you probably do), you should take advantage of this. It can be a good source of traffic for any website.
